George Websters has a tape that have 2 experts in the field from a seminar
in Oregon. One of the most interesting things one of the speaker points out
is we could fix the red gene. That the red is dominate over green. Takes
time . But could be done. You also can fix the dark green. Seems that
either side doesn't want the " mixed" . But lets face it our breeding has
been you take what you get or have available at the time of pollination that
as far as the plan goes. Our breeding plan in the past have been focused on
just weight. And we have created a lot of mixed colors. I think were
entering a new era where we can get both heavy and a pure color....MB
