Marv, fertilizers are usually sold by weight as opposed to volume. So if
your 1 cup of granular equals the weight of the 1 cup of Peter's then the
amount of Nitrogen is the same. The other things to consider are the source
and type of nitrogen. How much is immediately available? How much is slow
release etc....? It can make a difference.
