I did send such a message to the listowner, it didn't work. Then You said no
auctions. I took that as the end of the conversation. No "stewing" involved.
Having twice been told no auctions I got the message, no auctions. :-) With
conversations over, action taken, new list formed. Very simple.

Now I am confused??? If Duncan's list can't have auctions because of "the
ISP" disk space issue
how does a new list change anything. I thought the reason was also a money
issue, but
maybe it has more to do with auctions, and the question of who is interested
in auctions, and who is not. Since auctions about pumpkin seeds are
certainly on the topic of pumpkins then those who don't want to know about
the auction, or mushroom compost, or so-in-so's seed list can just hit the
delete button.

Sorry, confused again. Are you saying, as far as you are concerned,
auctions, and the disk space they may consume, are OK with you??? Thus, if
auctions OK with Duncan, then we only need one list? (I am good, very good,
with only one list.)

Boy, I guess I am losing it. Do you, or do you not, have a disk space/money
issue with auctions?? If you do, two lists are needed, if not, the new list
can go away IF Duncan also agrees to auctions.

(You know, I don't like how this is coming out. Duncan says be quiet about
auctions or be removed. I say you and Duncan need to allow auctions or there
needs to be two lists. Both sound pushy....help.....)

I set the new list up on a monthly pay basis. It can go away just as fast as
it was created.
I already have three web pages and another mail list I support. I don't need
a new list to run IF we can find (PLEAAAASE) middle ground.
