Re: True leaf

Hi Mike,

I'd like to compare notes with you. I have also started a 819 (thanx to
you). Here's the story :

19th : Edges filed, 1/2 hr soak in warm water, planted in 4" peat pot filled
with starting mix. Pots placed in homemade incubator. (Tray with dome,
placed on waterbed heater. Soil temp is a constant 80°).

21st : Seed has germinated...approx 40 hrs.

23rd : 13:00 seed has begun to break ground

24th : Has fully emerged and has freed itself from the shell. One leaf is
split in two, possibly shell damage?

25th 0:45 As I write this the seedling is now approx 11/2" tall

Does this data compare to yours in any way? Just wondering if your start is
comparable to mine...ie, am I behind ?

Till next time...
