Re: Seed Germination Times

Okay, OKay,
Here is the lowdown,
I planted 21 seeds last sunday night at 10:00 PM in the hot house in one
gallon pots. Temp and humidity both set at 85 degrees and percent. Just for
kicks I dug out the seed Monday night after pool league at 11:45 PM and it
had an inch long tap root. I replaced the soil and let it do its thing. Get
this, it was the third seedling to break ground with the #935 Lloyd and the
#469 Hester breaking ground before hand. Of the 21 seeds planted, only the
#975 Zehr did has not come up. All 20 have been transplanted to their
cloches and 7 have open first true leaves.
The start I feel I have down to a science, now I just need to figure out how
to get the rest of the season mastered. My top seedlings look like this,,,,
#720 Hester is best, #879 Holland, #935 Lloyd, #469 Hester, #946.5 Geerts,
#990 Bax, and Erichs #469 Hester are on top so far.
Take Care,
Brett The Pumpkinguru Hester
