William Warnock set the record in 1893--365lbs , 1900--400lbs
and 1903--403lbs .
Warnock's record was broken in 1976 by Bob Ford of Pennsylvania
with a 451 lb pumpkin and Howard Dill broke that record in 1980 with a
459lb pumpkin .
