Some of our pumpkins in our yard think it is time to be picked. We have picked them so they wouldn't rot in the field. Once they are picked is there anyway to keep them for another month without rotting?? Can you wax them with something, put them in the basement, etc??? Thanks for your help. My kids are raising these and I hate to see them go to waste. Is there anyway to keep the ones that are about ready to slow down so we don't have to pick them already??
