Unless Ironite has a component other than sulfur with the capability of
lowering soil pH it would take a large amount to lower the pH significantly.
Suppose Ironite was 100% sulfur (which it is not obviously) it would take
500 pounds per acre to lower the pH rating about 1 full point.
My guess is that the % sulfur in Ironite would be very small making it even
less likely that it could change the pH very much.

And does anyone know why Ironite is not available in Canada?
