bad news
well a hail storm friday, coupled with high winds have trashed all 4 of my
plants. the hail was from pea sized up to golfball sized and the winds were
up to 60 miles and hour. mind you the wind speed is a guess. so my 3 660
Koch plants and my one 840 Derosiers plant are basically dead. there is
still some activity (i.e. green leaves and all) but the vines are all busted
open and the remaining leaves are full of holes. so i guess we will see what
happens.
what fun for a first year grower
