OK you are right the 950 Boyton is a great seed and the 600.5 Gregory just
seems to EAT THE HEAT. but here in SUNNY southern California I found a seed I
think either rivals the 600.5 or could be better... YES it is the little sister
to the 600.5 it is the 345 Gregory (1026 Holland X 730 Stellpflug) it is
incredible absolutely incredible !! I am only growing it as a manvine just to see
what it would do and at 22 feet long that main vine is pushing my fastest
growing pumpkin of the season even over my 600 sqft 695 Handy and my other truly
proven seeds. it has the biggest leaves and Never wilted, Never burnt and has
the same looking fruit as the 600.5 but is much rounder. this seed could had
dropped into obscurity but I believe in Good crosses and this one is GREAT... For
those of you who just wouldn't take the time to grow a seed from a pumpkin
that small remember I won a weigh off for squash at Borchard farms last year
"the CA State giant pumpkin growers weigh off" with the seeds from a 73 LB
pumpkin that was open pollinated and the squash went 80 lbs heavy after being off
the vine for 2 months! Miracles can come in very small packages you just have to
BELIEVE !!!
