ATTENTION, CALIFORNIA GROWERS
One thousand dollars - $1,000 - will be the top prize in the pumpkin
weigh-off held in Santa Rosa on Sunday, October 2. The event will be held at
the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
A total of $2000 is being offered:
2nd ... $500
3rd ... $250
4th ... $125
5th ... 125
Competitors must register by September 2. The $15 entry fee includes a
commemorative T-shirt.
RULES
One entry per exhibitor.
Entries will be received between 10 AM and 12 NOON on weigh-off day, Sunday,
October 2.
Pumpkins must arrive on a pallet.
Judges are Mark Hanson and Ray Sandretto of the Sonoma County Dept. of
Weights & Measures.
