Scott,
Pump the water a little at a time in barrels, let them sit a couple of days
as the chlorine will evaporate. Then pump the water on your patch. As for
using it all at once I wouldn't. I mostly use chlorinated municipal water I
put in barrels and let sit a day or two so the chlorine will evaporate and
it works well. I also use rain water where I place these 60 gal. barrels
under downspouts. If that sits for awhile I put an ounce of bleach in that
water to keep disease growth out of the water. Let them sit a couple days
and then put on the patch. Don

I have roughly 1,200 gallons of water in a pool that needs to be
drained. Question for the group is, with the chlorine and other
balancing agents that have been used in this water, is it a good
candidate for watering my pumpkin patch?
