I think I would put 4 boxes of baking soda in the water to balance out your
acids, put in a sump with a garden hose and sprinkler and let it run all day.
Be sure to turn it off at 3 pm so the leaves will have a chance to dry.

Pump the water a little at a time in barrels, let them sit a couple of days
as the chlorine will evaporate. Then pump the water on your patch. As for
using it all at once I wouldn't. I mostly use chlorinated municipal water I
put in barrels and let sit a day or two so the chlorine will evaporate and
it works well. I also use rain water where I place these 60 gal. barrels
under downspouts. If that sits for awhile I put an ounce of bleach in that
water to keep disease growth out of the water. Let them sit a couple days
and then put on the patch. Don
