Chad,
The saying "smothered with love" might apply here. It sounds like you are
making something more difficult that what it should be in raising an AG.
1. You may have an infestation of spider mites, the symptoms you describe,
you would probably see some webbing because of the severity of the problem.
Also, because you use a soaker hose to water with, the foliage stays dry
which is an environment the spider mite likes. First determine if you have
mites, then we can take you down a road that will help eliminate the mites.
If you don't have mites then there are other problems.
2. Water soaker hose with timer, 15 min. I am not sure that you are
getting the amount of water needed to grow a good plant. I use a grid
layout of drip tubing and I usually leave the water on for at least several
hours a day. On top of this I will occasionally water by hand in order to
make sure that I have even watering. What is your soil type?
