My sister-in-law stepped on a copper head while getting the paper on the
porch. She too spent a week in the hospital. It was pretty scary. She still
has scaring 10 years later!

Yes, well, don't mess with one, like my neighbor did. He spent a week in the
hospital and nearly lost the hand that was bitten. His hand turned BLACK.
