Debbie lives in Illinois and her temps are about the same as mine. By 6pm we are in the low 80's and upper 70's. Having been in the nursery/greenhouse business my whole life, I have seen more problems with morning spraying than late afternoon/early evening spraying. Not sure where you live that it is still 95F at 6pm, but that is not an issue here in the upper mid-west. You are correct that everyone needs to make their own decisions based on their environment.
