While we are talking about plant hormones, what of other unusual growth
stimulators?  I understand that some commercial tomatos are grown in high
CO2 environments... is the purpose to speed plant development as a whole?

I would expect a littany of tricks in hothouse products, since there is
money in it, and the growing environment can be controlled.
