progress report

I have three plants in my patch. One plant has two pumpkins that I left
on and the other two plants each have one pumpkin. The plant that has
two pumpkins is a funny plant. The pumpkins have a large knob on the
flower end. I call it my chesty plant because they look like a big set
of yellow boobs. I have not measured them, but I would gues that they
are around 20lbs each. My next biggest pumpkin is sitting on the vine
which crept about ten feet onto my lawn. I have not measured it since
Aug 17 and then it was 30lbs according to the ovt. My biggest one I
measured this morning and it has a ovt of 154.5 which makes it around 87
lbs. I am quite excited because my mom told me I would be lucky to get a
fifty pounder and I told her I was going to take a 100 pounder out of
that patch. My parents were up yesterday and I think mom is eating her
words. I told her that next year I was going to get a 200 pounder by
using all of the knowledge that is shared in this group. I am proud of
what I have accomplished in my first year and I am now hopelessly
addicted to the quest for the big one. Next year the whole garden is
going to be pumpkins.
