OK OK- i found an error i just made in an earlier post. If you plant in May and your plant grows till Oct. that is more than 120 days. looks more like 150 days, give or take a few. And after just looking over the George Brooks 1991 - 617 pounder i see that this pumpkin grew from 6/23 to 10/9. which is 109 days. so pumpkins grow for more than 90 days, which is what i said before. seems like an early set helps, it helped this one. Gordon Tanner Maple Valley, WA are there any growth chart out there for a 900+ pumpkin ? I'd like to see one. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Has any one tackled this. If you had a totally controlled environment could you grow a pumpkin year round? Or would it reach a point of maturation , at say 60, 90, 110,130, days and then stop growing. How many growth days can we typically expect from an AG. Are there any statistics on the age in days of any of the largest pumpkins?
