Brock,
I water around 9 pm every night. I do not have time in the morning to
do it, soI have always watered at night, even though alot of people say
do not do it. I put down abou t50-75 gallons a day on my 460 pound
squash, and it seems to be doing fine.. The only problem I have
encountered is a small spot on the underside (where the dirt meets the
squash) that at first I thought was caused by a slug. I went into
Langevins book, and I am now coninced it might be a spot of gummy stem
blight. I cleaned the area, and applied a captan paste, and now I am in
a wait and see mode.
