Some of us have had this year’s pumpkin dreams shattered by
splits, groundhogs and other misfortunes. My condolences to
Marv, Bill, Brett, and others who have worked so hard and to
whom luck has been so unkind.
But we are a dedicated and committed people, aren’t we? - A
bad result is only a setback, and it does not mean that we
have failed, nor that we are giving up.
We will all learn from our experiences this year. We will
return again to do battle because we won’t give up on the
dream that is shared by us all - to grow the biggest damn
pumpkin anyone has ever seen!
