I add 0-0-60 and dissolve in water (place this suspension if you will) around
the outer edge of the root zone - have experienced no buring and the plants
are indeed taking it in..... uptake by the plants is good - nice dark green
color - "don't add too much" and yes - this time of year it does "kick in"
fruit growth......
"Shultz" makes a "tomatoe grow" powder which is 10-10-30 which also works very
well - I purchsed some at the local K-Mart
