It's rough isn't it?
And I'm NOT convinced it's what Troy said it was either.
I've see this and this oesn't necessarily fit the Bacterial wilt symptoms.
There is no gummy, sticky stuff in the stem like Bacterial wilt has.
It's milky runny stuff.
And the "meltdown" of the plant doesn't fit bacterial wilt either.
And I sprayed and sprayed my patch this year.
I didn't give the bugs a chance.
Still, it may be bacterial in nature.
That 3336 is made by a local company.
It's made by the Dragon company of Roanoke VA.
They also make a borer product but I've never used it.
This was the first year I've seen it.
These two problems aren't related.
They are both a pain in the ass though.:)
I hope you can get some help on this.
I'm seeing more and more of it on the list.
