Glenn,
My experience this year with Merit has been a good one.
I put it down in 2 applications, first on Apr. 28, then on May 30. I saw
quite a few SVB moths (shot those I could dead with pyrethrin spray) but
have had very minimal damage compared to previous years. I did find,
however, that this is not totally effective for controlling squash bugs or
cuke beetles and had to start spraying sevin or methoxychlor on a weekly
basis since July 7. I will be using Merit again next year.
