I have a question for the group on vine termination. First of all, when
is the best time to begin terminating vines? I have several pumpkins in
the 35-40 day range with OTT measurements of 200-238". There is still a
fair ammount of vine growth occuring. Will terminating the vines at this
late stage have much of an effect on the growth rate of the pumpkins?
(the growth rate has slowed to only about 5-7lbs/day)
