I had this problem earlier this summer. I took a leaf to my local garden
stop and found out it is mites.
Are the leaves spotty and turning brown at the edges? If so look under the
leaves and see if you see tiny spider webs where the leaf and stem joins you
probably have mites. The come in several colors and will work on older
leaves first. Any pesticide labeled for mites will work. I sprayed every 5
days with isotox for 3 weeks and the problem is under control.
I hope this helps
