Pumpkin organizations

Hi, all!

I've seen references to the WPC and the GPC but don't know which, if either,
to join. At the risk of stirring any political waters, I'd like to know what
the advantages and disadvantages of each is.

If you feel strongly one way or the other, remember that others may disagree
just as strongly, so please be considerate of opposing points-of-view and
those that hold them. If you really need to blow steam about an
organization, please email me privately.
