I've been reading this topic with interest.  Everyone always says AGs are 
stringy so the blender is a good trick. But, it sounds like the yams is the 
real secret let out of the bag. Kathie, send me the details of the recipe and 
I will post it in the cookbook with your name and city in the credits.

Speaking of tricks, putting the mash into a cheesecloth and squeezing the 
heck out of it gets the water out. But, it is work. Did you know pumpkins are 
90% or so water? 

One of these days I will try cooking up an AG, but even this pumpkin fanatic 
does not know what he will do with several hundred pounds puree.
