Re: Pre- 2000: Lost seed genetics


I maintain a frozen seed stock to prevent loosing the strain due to genetic 
failure or seed born disease.  Some of the stock goes back to pre 1991.  I will 
post an updated list sometime in January maybe next week.  I cannot grow any 
for a few years due to soil born disease unless I find a new spot which is not 
likely.  Some stocks are rare and would only be given to someone who is an 
accomplished grower but is growing in a plot that is 5 years or less old to 
prevent introducing disease into the strain.  I guess you would have to adopt the 
seed and be approved before the adoption.  :-).
