For those of you who would rather trap than poison...I don't usually feel the urge until the tips of a few pumpkin vines have been chewed off.
I spotted rabbits in my patch this year. I am sure that they were also responsible for nibbling on some (non-AG) pumpkin blossoms. I was thinking of a fence for my small patch. Any suggestions? How high would it need to be? How deep would it need to be to prevent digging under? What size wire mesh should I use? Of course, none of the answers to those questions will keep out the squirrels. But, first things first.
Thanks,
Marc
