Pumpkin Attachments.

In the past, you were able to send pictures of pumpkins and other files
to the subscribes. Today the system does not allow large files to be
transmitted to the subscribers. The largest file which can be sent is
40K. This means if your graphic is larger than 40k, it will not go
through. So, lets talk about this. It is nice to see pictures of
peoples pumpkin but I can't let files like 750K be sent to the group.
Do you know what this means? 750k X 250 = 187500k of data which needs
to go through my system provider. This is allot of crunch time for a ISP
and it slows mailing list down.

So what should we do...? What is the limit of the size of a picture?
The ISP has recommended 60K as the max. For me, I know I can create a
jpg file to support this size. This all gets back to understanding your
software to create a jpg file to a certain size limit. It can be done,
but you have to understand how to use your software.

Am I wasting your time?
