Well done John,
I have put a bag over the first female, not that they are bad looking, just
to protect the pollen from the effects of wind. (It has been a bad year for
wind) A couple of open pollenated fruit have started to put on some pounds I
may leave them a little while and see how the others go.
Now I am in the process of making up some seats for the fruit to grow on.
As you noticed I got no response to the bug problem I have discussed it with
the nurseryman and will take some samples tomorrow.
My soil testing suggested the K level was down and I have added some
Sulphate of Potash, havn't noticed much difference.
