Roger,

It has been my experience in the past few years that when the new growth
comes out it is just a little lighter green and tends to green up with
age.  Now if your whole plant is light green you should look at nitrogen
levels.   Nitrogen is one of the easiest nutrients to add so less is
probably better.  If your not happy with the color and growth of the
vines hit it with a little foliar feeding.  With in two to three days the
vines will perk up.
