RE: Genetics question

I think I understand this question:-)

Seed "X" would have a greater potential to carry the traits of seed A;
HOWEVER, self crossed seeds are probably as likely to enhance undesirable
traits as desirable ones.

Subject: Genetics question

Hi...I am looking for seed "A" which,more than likely isn't available
anymore.Seed "A" =B female x C male. Scientifically speaking-which seed
would
have more of seed A in it?
    1----  seed "X"= A female(BxC) x selfed
     2---   seed "Y"=A female (BxC) x D male(CxB)
   anyone?
