Tom, my method is to start 10 seeds indoors. I'll then take half of the
sprouted ones and put in one plot, and other half in other plot. I usually
end up with 4 in each plot and then star pulling weak looking ones every few
days. By 2 weeks I'll have my chosen plant in each spot. On vines. One plant
will throw out both male/ female flowers on it. Pumpkinpiper
