Hello,
Squash vine borers have killed all my pumpkin plants the last 2 out of 3 years. What is the best product I can use to control them? Would love to here from some of you who have defeated the borer. Thanks.

Just or even more important than the insecticide is the coverage.  The finer the mist the better and it must be mixed with Spreader Sticker.  Most insecticides kill SVB by the grubs ingesting it as they start to feed right after hatching.  If it's not where they're feeding they will enter the vine and surface spraying will not harm them.  I use Methoxychlor or Thiodan but there are several others listed for SVB.
