          Squash Vine Borers killed my plants the first two years I tried to grow.  The last two years I have been using Warrior-T also known as Scimitar.  Scimitar can be purchased at Pro-source one if you are interested.  The phone number is 317-328-1000.   I have no bug problems of any kind.  The final bonus is this product is much safer than most insecticides since it is a pyrethrin type insecticide.
