I still haven't found a good device for introducing water soluable
fertilizer into a soaker hose system. Does anyone know of one?

Mike,
The Dosamatic will work on a soaker hose system. The problem with many
injectors is that they require a substantial flow through them in order to
operate. The Dosamatic requires no electricity and is kind of like a piston
pump that is operated by the water flowing through it. It will operated on
flows less than one gallon per minute. Soaker hoses have low flow rates so an
injector like a hozon will not work unless you have a bunch of soakers hooked
together. Now for the bad news, they cost about 275 dollars. If you are in
gardening for the long haul, it is worth the investment. They are simple and
reliable.
