When us British arrived in NZ last century, there was a bit of a scrap,
well actually it was a war with Maori (note no Ss in Maori). It was all
settled with a treaty in 1840 (which actually started more wars and is
still argued in the High Courts). Waitangi Day 'celebrates' the signing
of this treaty.
Sorry team - not a pumpkin topic. To make it so, I can tell you that I
have taken some digital photos and will get them on a PC near you very
soon.
