Happy Waitangi day. I visited the south island of New Zealand a couple years
ago and have a calendar from there which marks the holidays. I haven't kept
up with my intentions to send my wishes on your holidays, but just thought I
would now. When I was there, I thought it seemed like an excellent place to
grow pumpkins (except for the long white cloud shading the plants), and
thought maybe I would move there someday and give it a try. You guys aren't
giving me a lot of incentive to try this. Also when I was there, I saw a
roughly 150 lb. pumpkin displayed at a grocery store with a contest to guess
its weight. I have always wondered who grew it.
