A very interesting observation and will take a closer look but at first
impression I don't think the male pollen has any effect on the fruit that
is before your eyes in the patch.  The genetic code is coming from the
cross before.  AG are tricky everytime i think i see something there are 10
examples that counter my thought so i feel like were kept in the dark many
times.  Although it appears to be true with the Kline/Shcwarz i look at my
606..which is a 449mar =804x990 crossed with the 559geerts =804x990 this
year the 606 produced a 692 in a very difficult climate.  I then look at
the 1009eaton which was a 946geerts sibbed with a sister seed ...need to
look more but I really feel the male pollen has little effect on the fruit
before you...and its effects won't show till the next
generation..........let me here more of your thoughts.........MB
