Bad Seed

I think the discussions that Chris started on the
above subject is one of the best helper that us new growers
could possible have given to us.
As new growers - we all look at big as better - how
do we get that big seed so we can match the heavy hitters.
I think that most of us look at our seed list & start
the biggest first. Maybe a mistake ?
If the experience of other growers with seed were posted,
it might save, newer growers a full year of frustration when
the seed they thought would do the best actually has a record
of growing big ones that never reach the weighoff for one reason
or another.
I for one would like to see this thread discussed further
and expanded on.
The veteran growers could really contribute a lot of help
to the newer growers in this area if they would.
I believe all would benefit !
