Re: Largest Pumpkin Festivals....

I guess it depends what we are considering here as a festival? are we
talking weigh-off entries?? are we talking officially weighed-in
pumpkins after the ones that have been disqualified for say holes
cracks and color? every year Topsfield has a couple disqualified
pumpkins so although they we entries they weren't on the official
weighed off list after the weigh-off was over.
If we are talking festival where just any old pumpkin is on display
then i believe the Guinness record is Kenne New Hampshire.

The 10th Annual Keene Pumpkin Festival
                  Oct. 28; Keene
                  603-358-5344
This festival sets the Guinness World Record each
year for "most
jack-o'-lanterns in one place at one time." The 1999
record consisted
of 16,349 pumpkins. This year's goal is 20,000. Grab
your pumpkin
and help set a world record.
