Proven seeds

MB, So "proven" is based on the genetics of the mother only, since it
was she that produced the big giant? I would have thought "proven would
more likely refer to seeds from the same pumpkin that produced the SEED
from which the big mother grew. My head is spinning and I'm starting to
see orange. Whew! Kathie
