. I figure this will allow me to finally try for a
squash as well. The first team choices are:
723 Bobier 99 (Two offspring over 1000 in first season planted.)
835 McIntyre 98 (I know I can do better with this one, pretty, orange &
round.)
871 Richart 97 (Jake made a believer out of me with his.)
862.5 Hester 99* (Hoping for a big green one, and if not green at least
big!)

Oh how LAME ! ...Don't tell us you really want to grow a squash and come
in with a pumpkin producer ! Thats total LAMENESS ! ;)......"finally try
for a squash"...almost broke out in shear laughter !..... put the 862.5 as
a backup ! Come on Chris...jump in with both feet...plant the 720 FIRST !
It has grown a VERY DECENT SQUASH....looks great on paper...a prettier
squash you will never see (the 744Welty squash from the 720.5)....but for
goodness sake----don't tell us your going for squash with a pumpkin
producer ! We deserve a teensie bit more credit than that
!....................Glenn
ps...you cannot deny the success of the 862.5seed for big fruit and I am
by no means disparaging that seed.
