G,day

Hello, I'm back from three weeks of sand ,surf and sunshine ( I stayed at
home).
A lot can happen in a pumpkin patch in a couple of weeks, we have had a lot
of hot weather lately, around 37degC. My pumpkin has swelled to about 80kgs
and has started to slow down, only growing 1 inch a day. The vine is not
looking healthy, the leaves are yellowing and I have no idea why.
The one I was growing at work is dead. It was accidently watered by a
sprinkler from a nearby tennis court during the hot weather.
A friend of mine has a pumpkin which is starting to rot on the top, I guess
there is no way to stop it. It was his first attempt and the poor guy is
heart broken.
No good news in 97 yet.
