    Bury your vines with soil and the borers will have more trouble laying
 their eggs. The rest of the plant that is exposed should be sprayed with
 Sevin or Methoxychlor every week starting around the middle of June, through
 Aug. 1.

Wayne, where in the world would someone get enough time to bury vines?  I
just can’t imagine the work involved, maybe if I was retired.
