GB,
George makes a good point. When I feed my plant it is with many gallons of
dilute solution, past the point of runoff so it trickles down the stem. If
you put on a small amount of mist you will get little runoff until there is a
rain or watering. If people are foliar spraying with small amounts you can
include a spreader\sticker (surfactant) which will give better coverage and
may help with a little penetration. A warning to new growers.....remember
that foliar feed is fertilizer and it can burn if put on too strong and when
it evaporates it is stronger. Many of the people who feed with double or
triple strength solutions are giving a little spray early in the morning when
the leaves are heavy with dew, which dilutes the fertilizer to a safe level.
