Guys:
In studying the growth charts of the larger pumpkins, it would be my suggestion
that the amount of foliar or other fertilizer would probably safely increase
during the 3-5 weeks or so, when the pumpkin (actual fruit) does its actual main
growth ? enlargement.
At this point it would probably be consuming its needed nutrients, etc, at amazing
rapidity, ? the extra fertilizer boost would be more easily utilized without
damage.
Please remember that these "suggestions" of wisdom are being made with no
experience at growing giant pumpkins, so please don't utilize them until we hear a
response from one of the pros like Chris.
