RE: soil, boil, toil, and trouble

I am sure I have l00% organic soil because I wheelbarreled lthe l300
cubic ft of it myself from an ancient 25 foot high compost pile that
stands like a pyramid right next to my patch. I never tilled it in and
added l-2 yards of fully composted manure for my attempt last year. I am
wondering if I decide to add inorganic material to my soil whether I
till up what is mostlikely Virgina red clay from underneath my organic
topsoil or add sand and not till up the clay.

Could I have the pleasure of knowing who Brock is?

>Joe, OM (organic matter) if you get a professional lab to do you test they
>will give you the percent of organic matter found in your sample......Joe
>it takes alot of OM to hit 10% so i would venture you might be at 12% if

>the only problem i see is getting the OM mixed well with your
